The Central Bank of Egypt participates in Singapore FinTech Festival 2019

The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has announced their
inaugural participation at this year’s Singapore FinTech Festival, held from
the 11th to the 15th of November 2019.
The fourth edition of the world’s largest financial
technology event aims once again to set the stage for the international FinTech
community to connect and co-create, in hopes of delivering a more inclusive and
developed global FinTech ecosystem. The CBE’s participation is on par with
national efforts to place Egypt on the map of prominent FinTech-focused
countries in Africa & the Middle East, in line with the CBE’s nationwide
digital transformation strategy for the finance sector.
The Central Bank of
Egypt is having prominent presence during the event to promote the recently
launched Central Bank of Egypt’s strategy key initiatives including FinTech
Egypt portal; the first official FinTech platform in Egypt that provides a
one-stop destination for all players of the local & regional FinTech arena,
Regulatory Sandbox as well as FinTech Fund of Funds.

year’s SFF will be defined by four underlying themes that will aim to empower
the FinTech community, which are Sustainability, Finance & Tech, Future of
