Aim to raise awareness on FinTech among university undergrad students since 2020, in addition to exploring young talent by encouraging and supporting the creation of innovative FinTech solutions to modern-day financial problem statements in Egypt. These projects are designed to enhance students’ understanding of FinTech concepts, foster creativity and encourage critical and business thinking. By integrating graded FinTech projects into the curriculum, we aim to make FinTech education more practical, relevant and enjoyable for students.
Each year participating universities from 9 different majors from business and innovation to engineering and computer science, gets grouped to participate to showcase their projects in each university during the semester, where they pitch their innovative solutions to a committee composed of experts from the Central Bank of Egypt, sponsoring banks, startups and professors of each university, the winning students are offered training programs in order to refine their expertise and skills and are granted a certificate of participation.
FinTech Got Talent is Egypt’s first national FinTech competition, held annually for the top winners of the FinYology graded projects across participating universities. The competition is in collaboration with the Egyptian Banking Institute (EBI) and powered by FinTech Egypt.
The program aims to identify and showcase the top three most promising, competition-ready ideas presented by university teams. Finalists pitch their solutions before a distinguished panel of judges, alongside representatives from banks operating in Egypt and leading FinTech startups in the local market. Selected teams gain the opportunity to win prizes and advance into a pre-incubation program designed to support the development of their innovations.
The "FinTech Got Talent" competition showcased the skills and innovative ideas of 10 teams from Egyptian universities. After a series of pitches, the top 3 teams were selected as the winners, recognized by H.E. Mr. Hassan Abdalla, Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt for their strategic thinking and innovation.

The 2nd edition of FinTech got Talent competition brought together the top 10 universities from across Egypt, showcasing exceptional talent, creativity, and passion for the future of finance. Students presented innovative solutions that reflect the next generation of fintech thinkers. After a dynamic series of pitches, the winning teams were celebrated for their strategic insight and forward-thinking ideas.

The 3rd edition of this flagship youth-innovation initiative, spotlighting 11 exceptional universities as they advanced to the final stage. The event opened with inspiring remarks from Mr. Rami Aboul Naga, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt, highlighting the vital role of youth empowerment and innovation in shaping the financial sector. After a dynamic journey of pitches and problem-solving, the top three universities were announced as the winners for their outstanding vision and forward-thinking FinTech solutions.

For 2 years in a row 2023 & 2024, the FinYology ‘Fintech Got Talent’ finalist universities were granted a 4 months incubation program imbued with technical support, mentorship and experience sharing at MINT Hub, for a fully customized FinTech for Youth Initiative.
This program brought together an incredible journey of mentorship, technical support and experience sharing. They transformed their business ideas into realistic models, we couldn't be prouder of their accomplishments.

The program aims to equip participants with the tools to develop and validate their Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), while fostering entrepreneurial thinking and introducing key investment readiness concepts

The first cycle was completed in November 2025.
The Arab FinTech Challenge (AFTC) is the first regional FinTech competition dedicated to empowering university students with innovative ideas in FinTech.
AFTC also aims to prepare students to compete on a global stage by equipping them with industry-relevant skills and exposure.
The first round of AFTC was powered by FinTech Egypt, organized by Global Innovation and Entrepreneurship (GIA), Egyptian students of AUC and Egyptian Chinese university where sponsored by Mint EGbank. The competition took place during the event of GITEX DUBAI.
FinYology students from AUC made it to the first place competing against UAE, Jordan & Lebanon in GITEX-UAE.
In the second round of the Arab FinTech Challenge under FinYology – FinTech for Youth, Egyptian students from Cairo university Secured the First Place against teams from the Arab region.
Their project “Ezraali” is an AgriFintech solution were it aims connect suppliers farmers, and traders through one digital application platform.
For the third year in a row, Egypt takes the lead at the FinTech Arab Challenge, proudly securing both the 1st and 2nd places this year among five participating countries — Egypt, Qatar, UAE, Morocco, and Saudi Arabia.
These outstanding teams were the winners of FinTech Got Talent 2025, representing Egypt on the regional stage with innovation, creativity, and determination.

The course aims to be integrated as an elective course into undergraduate programs across various universities. By collaborating with educational institutions, we will develop comprehensive curricula that introduce students to the fundamental concepts, technologies, and applications of FinTech. These curricula will be designed to cater to students from different academic backgrounds, ensuring that all undergraduate students have access to FinTech education.
