Dubai Smart City Accelerator invites Egyptian startups to join Cairo Fast Track

The Dubai Smart City Accelerator (DSCA) recently held an event on July 3rd at The GrEEK Campus in Cairo, inviting Smart City-focused Egyptian startups that operate in specific fields to join their program, as part of their global scouting tour and MENA Roadshow.

The Cairo Fast Track event was focused on connecting Smart City-centric startups in Egypt as part of the DSCA’s recruitment efforts for their accelerator program, which is powered by Startupbootcamp. Startups that successfully graduate from their intense 3-month program are provided with hands-on mentorship from established industry experts, seed funding, office space and the ability to access a global network of corporate partners & investors from across Smart City industries.

The eligibility of these startups was based on both their current stage in the startup lifecycle and in which industries their solutions were deployed. Startups positioned at the post-ideation to pre-series A stages were allowed to apply for the accelerator program, whereas they also had to be providing solutions in the fields of IoT & Connectivity, Urban Automation & Mobility, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Open City Data, Sustainable Cities & Living, Smart Government, and Smart Retail industry.

The Dubai Smart City Accelerator is considered one of the region’s leading accelerator programs that support innovative companies and provide a unique platform for startups to demonstrate their product/service to leading corporates, prominent government partners and potential investors, giving these young companies the opportunity to present their ideas and get personalized feedback from industry professionals.
